Patient speaking with Dr. Megan Malone during a calm one on one consultation in a comfortable clinic setting

Your First Visit

Starting care should feel clear and supportive, not confusing or intimidating.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you come in. Our role is to listen, guide, and help you take the next right step at your pace.

From First Contact to Your First Visit

1

Reaching Out

Your care begins the moment you contact us.

You can either:
• Book your appointment online at any time
• Message or call the office and connect directly with Jordan at the front desk

Jordan is here to answer questions, help you schedule, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward. There is no pressure to rush or commit beyond what feels right for you.

2

Forms and Directions Sent Digitally

Once your appointment is scheduled, we take care of the details for you.

You will receive
• New patient forms sent digitally so you can complete them at home
• Directions to the office with a Google Maps link for easy navigation

Filling things out ahead of time means your visit can focus on conversation and care, not paperwork.

3

Arriving for Your First Visit

When you arrive, you will be welcomed and checked in by Jordan. If you have questions, concerns, or nerves, that is completely okay. We expect that and we make space for it.

There is no rush and no assumptions made about your symptoms or experience.

What Happens During Your First Visit

Your first visit is about understanding you as a whole person.

1

Listening Comes First

We start with a conversation.

You will have time to talk about
• What brought you in
• What you have tried before
• What feels frustrating, confusing, or unresolved
• What you are hoping for, even if it is hard to put into words

Many patients have been told their symptoms are normal or that nothing is wrong. We take your experience seriously.

2

Gentle Exam and Assessment

Based on your conversation, a gentle exam may be performed to better understand how your body is moving and functioning.

If imaging or lab work is needed, it will be discussed clearly and only recommended when it supports your care. Nothing is done without explanation or consent.

3

Initial Care When Appropriate

If it makes sense for your situation, gentle treatment may begin during your first visit.

This could include
• Chiropractic care
• Movement based recommendations
• Supportive therapies

If treatment is not appropriate that day, we will explain why and what comes next instead.

After Your First Visit

You will leave knowing...

• What we are seeing so far
• What the next steps look like
• Whether imaging, labs, or additional information is needed
• How we plan to move forward together

There is always space to ask questions.
You will never be pushed into a plan that does not feel right to you.

What a Typical Follow Up Visit Looks Like

Follow up visits build on what we learn during your first visit.

These appointments often include
• Review of findings from your consult
• Discussion of imaging or lab results if completed
• Ongoing or initial treatment based on your care plan
• Adjustments to care as your body responds

Care is collaborative and responsive. Plans evolve as we learn more and as you progress.

A Final Note

You do not need to be certain.
You do not need a diagnosis.
You do not need to explain or justify your pain.

If you are ready to be listened to and supported, we are here.

Schedule your first visit or reach out to Jordan if you would rather talk first.
